Garney crews are familiar with all types of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete tanks including AWWA D115, AWWA D110 Types I, II, & III, conventional reinforcement, as well as steel construction. We have constructed circular potable tanks with up to 20 million gallons of capacity and rectangular concrete basins up to 120 million gallons.
Garney’s experience building waterworks infrastructure in the aqueous environment spans decades. We know what it takes to successfully work on top of and under rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. Projects we have successfully delivered include raw water intakes of various configurations, river crossings, inverted siphons and outfall diffuser systems, built for the municipal and industrial sectors under design-build and conventional contracting delivery methods. Garney owns and operates a fleet of construction vessels including boats, sectional barges, long-reach excavators, and cranes. Garney is unique in having the people, expertise, and equipment to self-perform the construction of all elements of waterworks infrastructure.
