After successfully completing a sanitary sewer system for Pepsi’s bottling plant in Denver, Garney was requested to construct a storm sewer system at Pepsi’s plant in Cranston, Rhode Island. This project consisted of the installation of 980 LF of 12″ to 18″ RCP storm sewer and 10 storm sewer manholes. Garney was asked to mobilize quickly in order to complete the project before the winter season. In addition to the piping, a stormwater treatment structure was installed that separates contaminants from the storm water that exits the facility. Also, a drainage system was installed for a new truck loading platform at an existing fructose silo.
