The Henry County Water & Sewerage Authority has awarded Garney this water reclamation facility land application system project as part of a major upgrade to Henry County's sewer system. The project consists of the installation of approximately 569 acres of a spray irrigation system using 10,500 LF of 30" ductile iron pipe and 355,000 LF of 1" to 32" HDPE pipe. The project also includes the installation of 4,400 individual spray head risers, valves, two 400-HP LAS vertical turbine pumps and motors, one 250 HP centrifugal type booster pump station, concrete, reinforcing steel, a 60-ft x 30-ft pre-engineered metal building, masonry, structural, electrical, controls, monitoring wells, access roads, fencing, erosion control, seeding, and all other appurtenances for a complete and operable system. This project is an addition to an existing land application spray system to increase the water authority's ability to treat and disperse sewage.
