San Antonio, Texas – August 09 –
San Antonio Water Systems awarded Garney a $4 million contract to construct the Local Carrizo Program Offsite Well Collection. This project includes the installation of four new production wells with 150 HP submersible VT pumps and appropriate well site modifications including MCCs, PLCs and RTUs, installation and programming, control valves, 8" and 10" steel piping, concrete pads, new chip seal access roads, and fencing. The project also includes 17,000 LF of HDPE pipe, ranging in size from 14" to 24," a 450' x 36" bore under Interstate-37, miscellaneous 70' x 42," 36," and 30" bores, rehabilitation of the lime system, modifications of SCADA programming, and the installation of a new surveillance system.
